For 0.02°Z accuracy applications where budget is critical and 589 nm is the only wavelength needed. This instrument is popular for sugar applications that do not require ICUMSA measurement at the 880 nanometer wavelength.

Rudolph does not use plastic polarizers on its less expensive saccharimeters like other manufacturers do. Rudolph uses only Glan Thompson Calcite polarizers, which cost 10x more than plastic polarizers.

TempTrol™ electronic cooling and heating is available as an option.

The TempTrol is™ only suitable for air conditioned modern laboratories.
